Innovative R & D
In 2018, we founded Wudi County Sesame Products Research Institute, covering an area of 5,000 square meters. It is equipped with 150 sets of precision instruments and devices and staffed with a R&D team of over 20 members. In July 2020, we jointly founded the Sesame Industry Technology Research Institute with seven institutions including the Oil Crops Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Currently, our R&D team is staffed with one academician, three researchers, and eight doctors. The five R&D centers of the institute specialize in variety cultivation and improvement, efficient production techniques, sesame processing, quality safety and standards, and brand strategy, respectively. So far, the institute has rolled out over 100 varieties of sesame-based products, including sesame seasoning products, leisure sesame products, and functional sesame products, aiming to contribute to the establishment of a national sesame food OEM production base and China’s ground sesame seed oil export base.
